Remove existing installation & keep runtime engine
Rename existing installation folder & add new installation
R3xx Series based installations will not work with  Release 4.0

Down-load and install Runtime
Down-load and install Trial Version
Start the Trial Version - double-click new desktop icon (PCBx3 Manager 4.0 (TV)

On the login screen select:

BuildCorp (Sample Company)

User name: Bob

Password: bob

Read the Security Warning here on this page on the left

 

 

The runtime database engine is required for all PCBx3 Manager installations that use a MS Access-based server database. The engine can co-exist with other Microsoft Office versions that may or may not include the Access database. If you have a previous installation of the same runtime engine, skip this part and go to item 2.

Installations Tips

  1. Download and save the zip file to a folder on your hard-disk (recommended location C:\Program Files\...)

  2. Extract the enclosed files to the same folder

  3. Locate and double-click the file Setup.exe in that folder

  4. Follow the Windows Installer prompts

Note

The installation will propose the folder "C:\Program Files\BlakeDev" for the main application. It is recommended to accept this default folder.

You can delete the zip file after successful installation.

To uninstall the runtime engine, select "Add or Remove Programs" on the Windows Control Panel and then select "Blake Developments – MS Access 2003 Runtime"

2) PCBx3 Manager  |  90 Days Trial Version
 

The Trial Version package includes PCBx3 Manager R4.01.75 - Enterprise Edition, a sample database and documentation files. The installation will create folders in "C:\Program and Files\BlakeDev" and place the PCBx3 icon on your desktop ready to go. Select the appropriate download depending on which Microsoft Outlook version is running on your workstation/PC.

Installations Tips

Note

The folder "C:\Program Files\BlakeDev" is proposed for the installation. It is recommended to accept this default location.

If you choose to select a different location, the desktop icon will require reconfiguring and PCBx3 Manager will prompt for a valid database connection and location. In addition, other system components may need reconfigurations.

To uninstall the Trial Version, select "Add or Remove Programs" on the Windows Control Panel and then select "PCBx3 Manager 4.0 - Trial Version"

 

Security Warning

Depending on your computer security and user settings you may need Administrator privileges to install the program.

You may also see a security warning when opening PCBx3 Manager for the first time. The warning asks you if you want to be warned prior to opening this program from Blake Developments, select yes. The program may close again. Simply double-click the icon again and on the security warning that will follow select to open the program.
